Will I get adjusted on the first visit?
In order for you to get the best and safest care, as well as the proper treatment for your condition, the doctor will need to take some time to look at all your information before performing any treatment. Most often your first adjustment and treatment will be on your second visit after the report of findings.
How long does a normal appointment take?
- New patient appointments typically take about 45-60 minutes.
- For corrective care appointments it will normally take around 30-45 minutes.
- For people who are just receiving an adjustment it normally takes about 5-10 minutes.
Why are x-rays important?
X-rays will show us the current condition and curvature of your spine in comparison to normal spinal models. Without spinal x-rays, a proper treatment plan cannot be determined for long term, corrective chiropractic care. X-rays provide the blueprint for correcting your spine back toward the normal, proper alignment and curvature. X-rays also allow us to check for other spinal disorders that can cause pain such as arthritis in the spine, joint instability, bone spurs, tumors, and fractures.
